COVID 19 BUSINESS UPDATE
To my clients and friends,
My family and I are, of course, practicing social distancing and wearing masks while in the presence of others.
If would like to make a purchase from SALVAGED by k. scott, I will have my pieces available for viewing just outside my front door. In another effort to limit contact, customers will be asked to load furniture on their own so please be prepared. Payments must be made via e-transfer until further notice.
My regular business will resume as soon as it is safe to do so! Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
CAN YOU REFINISH MY FURNITURE?
Unfortunately I do not take any custom refinishing jobs. You can find the pieces that I have available for purchase under the "currently available" tab.
DO YOU HAVE A STORE?
No. I do not currently have a traditional retail space. All of my items are sold from my home based studio.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I am happy to accept payments via cash, e-transfers or through PayPal.
DO YOU PUT ITEMS ON HOLD FOR CUSTOMERS?
No. Full payment must be made to claim an item.
I LIKE AN ITEM BUT I NEED IT IN A DIFFERENT COLOUR. CAN YOU REPAINT IT?
No. I will not repaint a completed item.
CAN I DROP OFF FURNITURE THAT I WANT TO GET RID OF?
If you would like to donate a piece of furniture to my business, please message me with some photos and measurements. I am not able to come to your home to view pieces and I will NOT purchase furniture through this venue. All donated pieces must be dropped off at my home workshop at an agreed upon time.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Unfortunately at this time I do not have the means to offer delivery of most pieces. Please come prepared to take your piece home in your own vehicle OR arrange transportation with a rental/moving company to do so.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TRANSPORT MY NEW PIECE HOME?
Make sure you come to the store with a cleaned out, enclosed SUV, truck, or van for larger pieces such as dressers or hutches. Bring enough blankets or towels to wrap around or cushion your item from friction of knocking.
If you will be transporting your piece in an open truck bed or open trailer, please bring a large tarp and rope or tie down straps to protect your piece from weather.
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to protect their finished items from damage.
